Son of Liberty posted an interesting topic regarding the objectification of women which does seem to be a hot button issue as of late. Check out my response and let me know what you think, bloggers!

!DEMOCRATIC FRAGMENTATION!
Greetings bloggers! As I sat down, I felt a sudden urge to come post a topic that many people have had something to say about. I'm not sure if I'll have anything new to say, but hopefully some of you will have some comments so that we can get down to the nitty gritty and have some fun talking politics!
I am so tired of democratic fragmentation costing them race after race at all level of government that I could just spit. It seems to me that in the last quarter of my life (little over 5 years for anyone counting!) that's all the democrats have been able to do. The absolutely disgusting approval rating that Bush had prior to the primaries starting should have spelled virtually a shoe-in for a democratic candidate.
But instead of us finally getting 4 years of respite from the terror that has been Governor Bush's reign in the White House, we now have an almost assured Democratic defeat. Don't mistake me, though, I would prefer McCain over the Governor any day of the week. I really do think, though, that we need left-wing candidate because despite my fairly balanced viewpoint across the spectrum as whole, I see a right wing win in this election as have a hugely devastating probability for a slippery slope that very well could break an already faltering nation.
But enough of what I think, what do you all have to say? Am I crazy?!

!HELLO BLOGGERS!
WELCOME
Hello to you! My name is Brandon Beth and I am just now journeying into the wide world of blogging dedicated to success for the first time. I am a 21 year old college student studying Network Communications Management in Kansas City, Mo. I presently work as an intern in a Network Administrator position here in town.
INTERESTS AND THOUGHTS
My primary interests are current events, politics, and trying to make a positive difference in the world around me. Having been raised largely with a libertarian mindset, I view most social decisions liberally and most economic ones conservatively. I believe at the moment, however, that our nation is in such a state that we must transcend party lines to try to make a difference as humans first and foremost. We must make the decision to make our world a better place. I think blogs will help me do that.
DON'T BE SHY
Enough about what I think, though. What do you think? Have blogs helped you to have a more positive impact on the world? Or are they just just something that give you a creative outlet? Or even better yet does anyone have any suggestions for a new blogger? There must be some pitfalls I should shy away from.
